The boom in piste touring has led to conflicts in recent years. Touring enthusiasts who are out and about on closed slopes at night, dogs running around freely, slope crossings in blind spots, frozen tracks in lavishly groomed slopes and … and … and …
Those and similar examples have led to the fact that ski tourers are often unwelcome on the ski slopes. The initiative “Bergwelt Tirol – experience together” wants to show with the Tyrolean model “Piste tours Safe & Fair” that ski touring and piste skiing can work side by side without conflicts.
